If you have a yard, you can do a lot. If you're in an apartment, an easy way to start is with herbs.
I recommend starting with as many plants as you have good space for (sun and fresh air), and start with only one species. It makes troubleshooting easier, and will increase your chances of success.
I’ll have to start with that then, literally the only thing I know how to grow is a pineapple as I’ve done those in the past 😎

Do you need to buy it straight away? How would you knpw you would like it there or their gov't is no different or worse from the one you want to stay away from? If I give my penny to it, perhaps try renting it first and see if it is the place for you. ☺️👌

It honestly has nothing to do with the gov, just a thought of it being pretty sick having some land that I can call my own, with everything home grown, but I think I would have to learn to grow my own things before even considering making this a reality
