We live in an anti-child society.

Case in point, when was the last time you saw an apartment complex with a playground for kids? Dog parks? Gotta have 'em. Kid parks? What are kids?

Inflationary fiat societies can’t see a year in advance much less a lifetime.

Also playgrounds don’t generate direct revenue, usually. Everything needs to generate profit to avoid monetary dilution

Dog parks don't generate direct revenue, either, but tons of apartment complexes have those.

Fair point, maybe the stats show that people are having fewer kids. It’s less of an incentive to cater to them

You are right. In my area, I only see immigrant families and minorities with children living in the apartment complexes. I think white Americans wait until they're in a house before having children, but they do have dogs. We do have nice public playgrounds nearby, though.

I also wonder if there are liability concerns with playgrounds that apartment owners don't want to get involved with.

Liability and litigation has ruined a lot of things.

I think you're right though. I usually see white people in apartments with dogs, but rarely with kids. Then for those few families in an apartment complex who do have kids, the kids have to go play in the street, literally, if they want to get outside and have fun.
