They used to, but at this point Bitcoin has separated itself so definitively that it’s not even worth worrying about them.

I get your point, and I agree that Bitcoin has clearly set itself apart. But scams like $TRUMP aren’t harmless—they damage adoption. When people fall for these schemes and lose money, it creates distrust that can push them away from exploring serious alternatives like Bitcoin.

Adoption thrives on education and trust, not distractions like this.

I think for most market participants, getting rekt on trump coin will be a more valuable bit of education than listening to Bitcoin podcasts or whatever.
