Pheasant as well. He is a GSP.
many people mistake mine for a gsp since he's black and white roan, but he's much shorter and smaller

Not familiar with roan. They look similar to a spaniel?
roan is just a coloration pattern, colored hairs growimg in (formerly) white patches
