Folks complain about “engagement”but in my experience if you have something extremely important to say you say it even when you think no one is watching or listening.
You never know who’s watching.

Much of what I have to say is so contrary to the encrusted traditions of those I hope to reach (Christians in mainstream evangelical and reformed churches) that I'm either ignored, dismissed, or belittled...

People only complain about engagement if they have no one in real life to have a deep conversation with.
