I was thinking about people who sell content. I can imagine mechanisms where split zaps could benefit creators and content storage providers. Has anything already been done in this regard?

Currently do you guys limit the download bandwidth of users? I'm experience some of throttling of 0.42 MB/s. Is that right? I'm using a VPN.

Hi Gustavo, apologies..

First question: It is not a bad idea and we have thought about it, but not only is it a completely different monetization method completely changing our existing model and requiring a lot more dev, we are seeing the majority of people don’t want to pay to see lost content.

We are absolutely planning to add a ‘pay to view’ feature for our Crestor accts, but this isn’t until later this year.

Second Question: No, we do not limit or throttle bandwidth in any way. If anything your VPN is doing it, may be the size of image/video you are trying to watch. Some people upload very large videos that take time to display, but we don’t throttle from our side at all.
