The law should still impose severe repercussions for shootings that don’t qualify as purely defensive and justified by circumstance. Also, I think open carry should be banned universally. Carry concealed, be polite, know there are consequences for being irresponsible, and fuck that guy who is trying to shoot your family with his body armor and AR-15 in the local Costco because he has some complex from being bullied in high school.

Disagree, it should be legal to shoot pedophiles. Also, if police can openly carry weapons, normal ppl should be able to too.

It only feels that way because it's super foreign to a bunch of people who live in a totally nerfed world disconnected from reality. I think a mix of concealed & open carry works as a nice balanced sort of deterrance. The same way some people prefer to use real names & others prefer to be anonymous online, different risk profiles, but both have their place.

If someone is caught sexually abusing kids they should be executed. Too often it happens in churches & small communities where people are too embarrassed to know what to do about it & they just sweep everything under the rug & allow the person to move on & do the same shit somewhere else.

There really needs to be a more streamlined & simplified protocol for having trials & adjudicating disputes among groups of private individuals. There's no such thing as honest govt anymore anyway, we have a pedo in the top position. And DC has been full of them for a really long time.

Homophilia is attraction to the same sex. Homosexuality is sexual contact with the same sex. Heterophilia is attraction to the opposite sex. Heterosexual is sexual contact the the opposite sex and so on…it’s a thought crime until/if the molestation happens. Agreed?

Community dissent held homosexuality back for a long time. Community dissent and consequence is more powerful than any policing authority IMO.

It held it back from public consciousness and acceptance but ppl have been doing gay things for a long time. It’s no different than pedophiles, they’ve also been molesting and raping children for a long time.

It’s an unfortunate reality. The high stakes that come with those actions don’t seem to be effective, but neither will a vigilante witch hunt be likely…history tells us mistakes and intentional labeling will occur and innocent people will die. I think the family circle is the appropriate barrier. Worry about your own family and community and let others do the same. Legality is not the defining factor, but the legal framework still must protect everyone if sufficient evidence doesn’t exist. My judgement and hopefully yours doesn’t necessarily depend on sufficient evidence. The well being of affected individuals is paramount. Criminal justice is a complex series of issues humanity has been struggling with since our cultural inception. We have yet to get it right.

I agree that sexual attraction is acted on given the right circumstance and a low consequence threshold. It’s the consequence threshold I focus on, as a father who raised a daughter I looked out for her well being with an unparalleled ferocity that most fathers can relate to. Progeny is a powerful evolutionary impetus. There are exceptions, generally though, I think this is the best current solution.

There are motivations in everyone that must be sequestered. Pedophilia, rape, murder, etc. These things are fairly common in the population, but largely caged by our culture and community dissent. Taboos have long been the driver of appropriate behavior.

I think all the social rejection & blacklisting you want is perfectly acceptable, but there must be a direct physical threat that makes violent defense necessary. Otherwise the possibility of killing an innocent person who has been framed becomes too likely.
