Oh ok got it. When I look at his profile in Damus it doesn’t show any relays configured on his profile. Some clients look for those. That’s probably why he’s having issues. Nostur will work because it has default relays that the app uses. Nostur also has an option in the settings to “announce relays” for your profile which would make them show up in other clients that need them.
Weird, there were a bunch showing in the app. He's going to try Nostur later and hopefully that fixes it.

This was what it shows on his profile vs yours. See on yours Damus shows your relays. On his it doesn’t.

Very strange. This is all more straightforward on Android, but the iOS apps sure are pretty.
