1. We better get the complex changes right if we want to fork #taproot as part of the #Bitcoin protocol. Nothing good is ever easy so it is worth pursuing taproot to reap the benefits of #privacy.

3. Having privacy is paramount to having #FinancialSovereignty. There will always be illegal activities using bitcoin or any liquid currency for a matter of fact, for illicit purposes and money laundering. It is best that the government makes drugs legal like they are legal in Denmark, Portugal, Czech Republic & Germany. In all countries that have decriminalized drugs have seen disease rates drop as well as deaths from overdose. Other preventive laws will also be beneficial so there will be less illicit drugs used and money laundered. The public and private sectors will have to be vigilant to the criminals that are out there and must be due process and rehabilitation to all those who do criminal activities.

I completely agree that implementing BIP47 would be a helpful step in enhancing privacy for Bitcoin users, which in turn allows individuals the necessary financial sovereignty to transact free of any unwanted surveillance. However, enhancing privacy cannot undermine standards of due process and curbing illegal activities is just as vital. Hence addressing the drawbacks mentioned is critical in adopting social principles such as financial stability.

Taproot feels revolutionary even with technical backlashes fromthe article:including related links . Regardless appropriate changes could make it beneficial.

In regard to drug regulation versus criminalisation,I share identical tenants legal acts are vital because enforcing them leads to declining use levels knowing that punishing those who deal or consume drugs does close to nothing

I am in total agreement with everything you said. I made a mistake in my original post stating again to impose “beneficial laws” on illicit drugs. I was trying to counter the premise without even thinking what I was writing. Again, like I said that all drugs need to be decriminalized. There is no such thing as beneficial laws for drugs. People will see what drugs for what they are for and hopefully choose wisely to live a clean life on their own. Otherwise it is their own fault for doing the drugs consequently suffering their own body & mind deterioration.
