Broke out the card scrapers to do some final cleaning of the curves on this table base. I’m a hybrid power tool/hand tool shop and this is a great example: using a band saw to cut the curves for the feet and legs, then breaking out the hand planes and card scrapers to dial everything in (then back to a nice power sander for the final prep work). There’s definitely something fulfilling about using hand tools.
