This was a 1980s Star Furniture “Hemingway” dresser that my client had sitting in their garage. Now it has custom doors made from wood taken from a Jim Beam aging warehouse, LED lighting, and soft-close drawer slides. Client loved it!

Beautiful, can’t wait to see it finished!
Just finished this coffee table with wood from a 300 year old farmhouse!

White oak bow ties that pre-date the Napoleonic War!
This is on a big coffee table for a client, almost finished sanding. Next step is deciding on stains with the client.

Napoleonic War era white oak from the Austrian Empire, added two bow ties to the large crack to stabilize it. This is one of two feet for a massive coffee table, 7’ long!

This might look like a small door for a gantry crane, but it’s old growth red and white oak 🌳.
I originally bought this crane when a client brought me a 600lb slab of Sinker Cypress, since then I’ve lifted heavy tools and 12’+ tables, highly recommend!
Don’t mind the suit, gearing up for a themed YouTube channel and trying to set the style 🕺.

Jim Beam warehouse wood: just installed these barn doors for a client, I used a plywood core and wrapped them with wood from a decommissioned Jim Beam aging warehouse 🥃.
The finish on these doors is Rubio Monocoat, it’s a one coat finish that’s VERY durable, no VOCs, and smells like green tea!

Dovetail joint on a 10 FOOT barn beam console, I originally bought this gantry crane to help flip and load slabs, but it’s working great for what started as a 16’ long 11”x11” barn beam. Based on the growth rings and the time this barn beam was originally used, the tree this beam came from was a sapling around the early 1800s!

Thank you very much!
When I started making furniture I never expected to be here. I made anything and everything, with no vision or unifying theme. Piece by furniture piece, I’ve come to a realization: I’m in the business of story-telling.
Each furniture piece I make uses reclaimed woods from a bygone era, from trees that were saplings when our nation was formed. I may use tools to craft my furniture, but all of my clients truly fall in love with the stories. A new business logo may not seem like a big deal, but right now it’s making me feel a new clarity and focus. I just got this design back from a very talented artist and I love it. Here’s to many new furniture pieces and many new stories.
