Gender is binary. It's not a social construct. There hasn't been any recent new scienctific breakthrough that discovered more genders.
I would say that gender is separate from but extremely strongly correlated to sex.

Exactly the opposite. They say everything is a "social construct", even sex. Which is the opposite of what I'm saying. Sex is biological, and gender is downstream from it.
