Everyone gets #Bitcoin at the price they deserve.
Same with #Nostr, but the price is censorship on Twitter.
Some Bitcoiners seem to have a very high tolerance ๐

Everyone gets an npub when they deserve it.
Everyone gets a chance to tweet their nsec ๐
Agreed. But since the point of censorship is to cut off perceptions that are unfavorable to governments and mega-corporations, we should maintain a presence on the blue bird and keep spreading the orange liberty message.
If bitcoiners disappear from Twitter it will quickly become a shitcoin platform.
I see your point but thereโs so much noise on twitter that itโs hard for bitcoiners to spread the message. Also, thereโs so much negativity that obfuscates the positive message of bitcoin. What if this becomes the best and only place to find the true unfiltered signal of bitcoin?
Yes, Nostr is the future. For now it makes sense to have a presence on both. The negativity on Twitter can be overcome by using well-crafted lists. When people use lists, they pick their own algorithm.
True, but that requires effort. Most people are lazy and want to be fed their content. I know what you mean though, there is reach and people who may not understand or appreciate btc reside on Twitter and there needs to be an effort to bring those people over. Itโs just that old saying, donโt waste your time water the rocks.
Lists or not, there's still a lot of censorship happening over there. Criminal level censorship.
I also see Leo's point. But I don't think we "should" maintain a presence on Twitter (but feel free :)
I couldn't care less if it becomes a shitcoiner's social network. Already is IMHO. And look at the CEO ๐คฆโโ๏ธ
Twitter is an insult to Free Speech, it's only getting worse, and I don't believe it has any chance of winning against Nostr in the long run.
Twitter is dying. Gradually, then suddenly.
This is good for Humanity.

Agreed Ken. It is a process in motion and people will leave the blue bird at the time it is right for them. I still find new accounts on the blue bird that have liberty potential.
The Canadian trucker convoy donation drive is a good example of the benefits of bitcoiner presence. Yet, I understand those that are done with the censorship and go Nostr only. For many, Twitter is now mostly a repository for npubs.๐
