Oh, I was wrong in that "broadcast mode" stays within the hive app. I believe on the backend it does do one to many webrtc, and it makes the UI simpler when people join (no fancy stuff). It says even without broadcast it can do 100 participants per CPU! But to stream (restream) to a different service while doing this you would still need to run OBS/rtmp yourself and restream.
