Chainalysis has been assisting tyrannical regimes lock up innocent people.

What's the simplest way to put them out of business?

I was thinking maybe a 14 day amnesty period for their staff to resign and then a bounty to dox anyone who still works for them?

unfortunately i think you can say that all companies that are compliant with government mandates are no less doing evil

like, coin corner with their KYC to reload their lightning NFC card... and who do i go to about the damage that their systems getting hacked could cause me?

not singling out that one just an example... i halted my signup with them even though they gave me one for free at bitcoin atlantis, when it asked for my passport

I think this is very different because they are actively collaborating to put Bitcoiners behind bars. This is a red line.

if in your mind they aren't humans because they aren't bitcoiners that is a bit messed up

I'm struggling to see how you came to that conclusion 🤣

how is it different what chainanalysis dose compared to boeing or boston dynamics or apple as far as causing harm to people goes?

in my mind it is this: government charter and compliance with mandates = fascist corporation doing government deeds to shield government from liability - and even if the company's actions lead to death and suffering all they do is pay fines

We are quite far from being able to action this approach.

They can’t be starved of revenue or tied up in regulatory issues with their customer base. Outcompeting them solves nothing so reputation is the weak spot.

Customers would care if they are hacked and customer info were leaked (contracts are sensitive). More scrutiny in security audits means sales slow down, renewals become more difficult, some will just stay away entirely but that would likely require multiple incidents.

They will also care if Execs were embroiled in scandal. Doesn’t matter if it’s true, the news of it does the damage. Difficult for Governments to do business with people publicly associated with…?

Employees care if it’s unsafe to work there or the brand would potentially put off future employers but would be difficult to move as they just want the paycheck.

The market is the most difficult to influence and it’s more by weight of issues than any individual thing. Companies survive shitstorms all the time, it’s when multiple things hit in succession and don’t all get swept under the rug that it becomes a problem.

needs to be more subtle.

they will use you to their benefit if you threaten them.

If you bounty, bounty skeletons.

they r doing patriotic duty - also looking for patoshi coins

You just raise up your opsec. Coinjoin. Adopt GRIN and monero.
