I have been having frequent, sudden issues breathing for the past year and a half.

My doctor told me they’re panic attacks, but they aren’t onset by stress and don’t come with any psychological distress, beyond that of not being able to breathe, so I think she’s wrong. I also think the idea that I’m having panic attacks while I sleep is fricking stupid, so I have no clue what causes it.

My throat isn’t closed but an inhaler usually still helps because it gives you a sudden jolt of energy and just opens you up in general.
