And your world is truly a world of fantasies, and provably so. Not one human being has ever seen the real world. If you saw reality, you would encounter miracles and magic. What an inversion, that you think the miraculous is only stories! How would you know, when you know nothing?

Humanity's best ideals are like a suit you wear to a friend's wedding. You look great in it, but you really just can't wait to get out of it. And occasionally there's a new occasion to warrant a suit of bullshit ideals, and it looks fantastic... But again, you take it off.
