I'm in a number of various tech and design Facebook groups, and one thing I'm starting to see is that a lot, if not the majority, of the people who are switching to tech are doing so for financial gain. I understand that, as a result of the economy, many are seeking for ways to enhance their income and are willing to change occupations.
