Technology is a field that requires dedication and skill to break into. The demand for tech workers is high, but so is the competition.

The majority of the posts in these tech and design fb groups are people asking which degree they should get next, resume tweak tips, and which tech/design position pays the best.
I’m just over it.
The conversations in these tech and design fb groups are lacking passion, projects and support.
I'm in a number of various tech and design Facebook groups, and one thing I'm starting to see is that a lot, if not the majority, of the people who are switching to tech are doing so for financial gain. I understand that, as a result of the economy, many are seeking for ways to enhance their income and are willing to change occupations.
Maybe in the near future I'll redesign the Temu apps, but I don't have the time right now. I'd explore collaborating with other UXers on a team to get it done and contribute to our portfolio.
Temu's web and mobile apps need to be redesigned. There is just too much going on and far too few categories. I can't even force myself to buy anything since the platform is so overwhelming. It's just not a positive experience for me. Anyone else had this type of experience?
