will it cause nations to use the dollar, or will it escalate the timeline of the large number of nations moving away from it? we will see.

Nobody wants the USD for international trade unless they're purchasing something FROM the US. Any other transaction is exchanged to local currency. People in the EU generally use the EUR, people in Russia the Rubel and mopst people in Japan use the YEN. So yeah, nobody really holds USD unless they're American.
It will force countries to find alternative trading partners. Much like sanctions forced the creation of an alternative payment system.

Unless he fixes the debt to GDP problem, it won’t matter what these counties want to do it would simply be foolish of them to keep trading in a failed currency.

Call it hubris, but we voted for this. Let Europe burn in war. We'll have tariffs and drop income taxes .. we'll be good to go in the Americas.
The Americas have all that it needs.
I like that Trump loves America and wants it to be successful, but force and bullying is not how you fix things. Making the best stuff is. The dollar was used by the world because it was the most stable and useful in the most markets. Unless we quit printing money, growing debt, and wasting time and effort on things that don't last, the dollar will continue tumbling till not even Americans want to use the USD.
