Absolutely. People hate fiat but gold was the reason for the emergence of fiat in the first place. Outdated technology. I owned it. Recently sold. Terrible experience.
Exactly. I was there once. It was a pain to figure out how to purchase it, verify its authenticity, store it, move it around… it was awful.
Yes. At this point owning gold instead of bitcoin is just expensive romanticism.

Yes. I postponed selling the gold I had after we discussed it, rethinking my stance, but in the end the scenarios where holding gold is beneficial are so low in probability I went with my original intent.
