that’s the thing I resent about my time in the military: it took all my time and energy that i didn’t have the bandwidth to give a shit about money.

i’m just grateful i have a fast processor so when i started paying attention, i got it real quick

i honestly have no idea if i would have gotten it if i knew about it back then, probably not.

maybe spending a decade with the economic background of a 5th grader is what really sparked my need to know
