It’s always about the climb. Free Will is not free - it takes a bloody minded individual to pursue it.

seems ok, but "it's about" or "it's always about" are a tad sketchy and way overused. decent sentiment though.
i'd say, rather "my actions are my only true belongings, I can not escape the consequences of my actions." (and those are not my own words but apt)
and keep this in mind when you hear intellectualized speech that doesn't come from personal experience. if you haven't lived it, it's better to listen, not project ideas.

I’m not sure I understand what you mean?
I pretty much write from personal experience, not from what I’ve read. It’s helped me live a large life. Travelling extensively has allowed me to climbed lots of mountains - both physically and metaphorically.

ah no. you misunderstood me and I probably should have been clearer. I was speaking generally in the end and not about you at all ... more of a tip to avoid stinky fake zen people who reek of "words". (I wouldn't have said the last part if I thought you were a faker 💘)
