Bringing attention to the body helps. Instead of just falling asleep, try sensing the whole body, starting with your skin, then goes to the toes and work your way up to the head. You might enter into a half-sleep, half-wake state or actually fall asleep, but entering this way helps with the waking process. If you can, wake up the same way too. Same for sleep at night.

The process of moving your awareness around the body sounds similar to yoga nidra (yogic sleep). There's some great guided recordings out there, I always liked this one:
Thanks, Carlito. That's me 🙂
Wow, incredible to see you here on Nostr! I've used that recording for years, both for my own use, and also for inspiration when guiding yoga nidra sessions.
What a pleasure to be able to thank you in person =)
You're welcome Carlito. And thanks for the Zaps!
I've recently revived my practice and facilitating.
Started doing some streamed sessions last week, using Jitsi.
