I'm afraid nostr can go both way in this. We assume there are spooks that get pumped to be influencers but on nostr, personhood isn't even a limiting factor. Here, 10 spooks with LLMs could spawn a million influencers and just drown us all with "useful" opinions. I don't know how to protect against that.

No but once you follow 5 spook accounts that then are posting strategically and more effectively than the next 500, you get a ton of influence. It's more democratic and you can unfollow but how do I know why people say what they say?
I still feel like following 5 spooks here would be less manipulating than following 5 on X that have the support of the X algorithm (same agenda or paid for). Here you could still see opposing views if you follow them, on X it's possible they don't even show up on your timeline anymore and get shadowbanned. But blind following will lead to being captured on both, yes
