It's one thing to be skeptical of Bitcoin when you first hear about it. It's hard to believe that such an odd architecture could survive the test of time.
And yet, the folks who have by far taken the biggest L are those who were on the cypherpunks mailing list, said it would never work, and continue to deny the past 14 years of evidence to the contrary.

To understand Bitcoin, you need a broad understanding of many systems. Technology, economics, game theory, etc.
These folks might be smart coders but that isn’t sufficient.
Amazing... Even if I was skeptical to the adoption, I would have at least been convinced of the technology itself by my understanding of it and bought a little.
'Eat all the worlds power' , so took zero time to understand it before writing it off then.

With every price point bitcoin reaches and also staying alive makes it stronger. Even if people missed the cheaper prices the fact that it is not dying and seeing higher prices actually results in self fulfilling prophecy. It is a good time to get in "most of the time".
