What do you mean by "protectionism?" Did the EU impose tarrifs on US imports before? I don't follow international tax laws.
If by protectionism you mean "communism," then yes.
EU plans to use people's "unproductive idle savings" to build a military (industrial complex). That's a paraphrase. "Because they can't rely on America's military." Sounds to me they just want to give their communism teeth.
