While slicing up rhubarb, i was thinking how tired i was when i sliced the tip of thumb. That sucker bled. Luckily i had a flap attached so cleaned it and pressed it back into place. A few hours later it was looking okay so i grabbed a stalk of comfrey and squeezed juice out of it and applied to the cut. Sounds silly but i can feel it healing.

That’s awesome!! The healing power of nature!

I have felt that before a few times with fresh plantain and with a blend of essential oils I’ve whipped up, and it’s definitely a really cool feeling.

Using comfrey to treat wounds should be avoided.

It will heal from the top down, which can trap dirt etc. under the skin, leading to infection/stop infections from draining.

You're probably ok using it on your thumb if it's a shallow wound just make sure it's clean.

But to be safe people should really only use comfrey for treating muscle injuries or broken bones where the skin is not broken

How's it doing now? Just slicing my nails when chopping marmalade gives me that horrible rush.

I have plenty comfrey is you need more!

Healing. I have lots. Thx!
