I couldn’t wait for the next part because I wanted to share already. Everyone I know is a massive fan of Edward Hopper and his clear influence of film noir within his beautiful stark, lonely urban landscapes. His use of shadow and light give off such a mood and atmosphere which is somehow different in every painting. He captures such a a sense of isolation and unease with his solitary figures and empty streets.
