🙏🏽 I have seen the Maltese Falcon with Bogard as a teen, I bought Raymond Chandler and all that Detective, Femme Fatale, crazy plot twist books. What I love is the complexity of the characters but the stark contrast and simplicity of their representation -be it a painting, in a novel or in film. Also the influence of Film Noir in Film today is massive.
