I just looked at my other social media feeds... the contrast with nostr is massive! It is all focused on shocking, depressing, and miserable things that I am helpless to do anything about and can't bear to look into anymore.

I’ve been saying that the other social media platforms are like open-air prisons where the warden changes the rules on a whim. The prisoners don’t know how to react other than to protect themselves leading to nasty behaviour. In #nostr, it’s completely different - everyone is their by their choice, the rules are simple, and everyone can be held to their word (self-signed messages)
I can barely look at any of them.
