One time, a long time ago, I designed a writing app with writing prompts, audio, video and other elements. It was meant for journaling. I designed it for myself basically. It was meant to help me write down fleeting memories quickly without spending too much time.

I showed the design to a developer friend who laughed it off saying no one would use this.

Apple journal is a major feature in upcoming iOS releases and their feature set is mirror for mirror of the things I drafted for myself.

Yeah, no one will use that! 😂

Glad I didn’t have to compete with Apple.
