If we don't have wide adoption and acceptance for a change, you don't make the change to defaults. Core is forcing nodes to change settings if they want to update and we 80iq plebs somehow see how damaging this attitude is while 150iq geniuses like you do not.

Keeping current settings is harmful for noderunners. There is no reason to keep it. If you want filtering, just run Bitcoin Knots
