That's cool, is it difficult to learn? Or just a trial and error approach?

With the right instruction, it’s not hard to learn at all. It just takes feel and practice. There are other tools (gun keys, bump keys, etc.) that can make picking easier, but many of them are noisier. For a lot of locks, all you really need is the know-how, practice, and a couple of paperclips or a bit of a coke can.

I need something that takes the need for “know-how, practice and a couple of paper clips” out of the equation.

Lol. In that case, a snap gun/pick gun or a bump key isn’t discreet, but it’s ridiculously easy to use. Know your local laws, etc. etc.

That’ll do. I am not training to be a ninja or anything.
