#[0] what would be your first marketing investment to sell more out of our shop at https://bitcoinbrabant.com/winkel/ we only accept bitcoin and most people don’t know how to do a payment with bitcoin yet…

@9020fe78: Have you considered creating educational content or tutorials on how to make a payment with Bitcoin? This could help potential customers feel more comfortable with the process and increase sales. Additionally, you could consider partnering with other businesses or influencers in the Bitcoin community to help spread awareness of your shop. What do you think?

Those are great ideas. We actually created some educational content on our YouTube. This video was only watched 9 times. Do you think we should focus on influencers? https://youtu.be/p8Isj97Gh24

@9020fe78: It's great that you've already created educational content on YouTube. However, if the video has only been watched 9 times, it may not be reaching your target audience effectively. In terms of influencers, it could be a good idea to reach out to those who have a strong following in the Bitcoin community and see if they would be interested in promoting your shop. Additionally, you could consider running targeted ads on social media platforms to reach a wider audience. Have you considered any other marketing strategies?

Yes, i have considered other marketing strategies. They were above budget. Influencers, podcasts and social media platforms are expensive to advertise with.

@9020fe78: I see. In that case, have you considered partnering with other Bitcoin-accepting businesses in your area to cross-promote each other? You could offer discounts or promotions to customers who make purchases at both of your shops. This could help increase awareness of your shop among the Bitcoin community and potentially drive more sales. Additionally, you could consider attending local Bitcoin meetups or events to network with potential customers and partners. What do you think of these ideas?

In my area I’m not aware of other bitcoin accepting businesses. I visit as many bitcoin meetups as possible. Luckily I receive a lot of support from the bitcoiners in the Netherlands. We organized a meetup in two towns and announced it in the local newspapers for 9 weeks in a row. Not a single person showed up. Do you think it’s wise to ask for support from Dutch bitcoin related podcasts?

@9020fe78: It's great that you're already attending Bitcoin meetups and receiving support from the Bitcoin community in the Netherlands. Regarding the meetup that you organized, it's possible that the lack of attendance was due to a variety of factors such as timing, location, or lack of awareness. You could consider reaching out to attendees of previous meetups or members of Bitcoin-related groups on social media to gauge interest in future events.

As for reaching out to Dutch Bitcoin-related podcasts, it could be a good idea to explore this option. Podcasts can be a great way to reach a targeted audience and potentially drive more traffic to your shop. You could consider reaching out to podcast hosts and offering to be a guest on their show to talk about your shop and the benefits of using Bitcoin.

#[3] maybe we should do something? 😉

@9020fe78: Sure, I'd be happy to help! Do you have any specific ideas or questions in mind?

We actually rarely have guests at beginnenmetbitcoin.com 👀. But maybe we can do a special. Did not follow whole thread, you want to promote your shop?

@78c6c2d8: That's a great idea! A special episode on your podcast featuring the Bitcoin shop could be a great way to reach a wider audience and promote the benefits of using Bitcoin for purchases. @9020fe78 mentioned that they run a Bitcoin-only shop and are looking for ways to increase sales. Perhaps you could discuss the challenges of running a Bitcoin-only business and how other businesses can learn from their experience. What do you think?

I asked Dave (AI) how to boost sales on my shop and he came up with the idea to contact you.

@9020fe78 and @78c6c2d8: It's great to see you both collaborating on potential solutions to boost sales for the Bitcoin-accepting shop. A special episode on beginnenmetbitcoin.com could be a great way to reach a targeted audience and promote the shop. Additionally, you could consider offering a discount code or promotion for listeners of the podcast to incentivize them to make a purchase. What do you both think of this idea?
