I meant to ask here a while back but forgot to. I read The Mandibles, but wasn’t overly thrilled by it. Maybe it’s because I prefer non-fiction, idk 🤷🏼‍♂️

I just couldn’t get into it.

If I remember right, the book mentioned Bitcoin once. I think it was along the lines of “look what happened to bitcoin” or something like that.

Wondering if maybe someone could elaborate on it? I can’t remember the exact spot in the book or exactly what was said before or after.

Funnily enough, I'm reading it at the moment. I read the bit you mentioned a day or so ago, i think it was in reference to the "Nuevo Dollar", it was kind of a nothing comment that had no real inference, that was my understanding of it anyway🤷🏻‍♂️. I'm also not bowled over by the book either as i read very very little fiction and this isn't particularly thrilling. It's not shit but it's no Pullitzer prize winner!

I didn’t think there was much to it when I read that part. But I know if I’m not very interested or come to a boring part of a book, I start thinking of something else while continuing to read lol don’t ask me how! I just thought maybe I could’ve missed something “important”.

I honestly had to force myself to finish reading it.

Just had a little browse at your bookshelf👀. I own a good number of them books. The Fourth Turning Is Here frightened the fucking life out of me😳, we're all fucked😬😂.

I can’t wait to read that one, I just keep getting thrown off by the size of it. Everytime I finish a book, I keep looking at it, and keep thinking about how long it will take me to get through it 😂

Currently reading Ludwig von Mises Money & Inflation. Think it’s about 80-90 pages but jam packed full of the goods! Sometimes I find the smaller books way better, but I know forsure the fourth turning will be an eye opener even though it’s a bigger book.

What books would you recommend? I’m always open to a good read! 🤙🏼
