Folks who are unable to tolerate plant toxins have heightened sensitivity to them, probably due to leaky gut.

I had the same problem for ages.

Suggest cycling megadose l-glutamine, zinc carnosine, lactoferrin, and collagen. Folks in this camp tend to respond well to dessicated thyroid (assuming your motility is poor and you wake up cold).

Of all the plant foods, you *should* be able to tolerate fruit, rice, and potatoes assuming adequate activity.

I think it's mainly ketosis that helps. No amount of gut healing will allow me to stay in ketosis while eating potatoes. I appreciate you trying to be helpful but I completely lost interest in eating plants at this point. Meat tastes great.

Meat is great. As is raw diary. Eggs. Honey. Fruit. And even some rice and potatoes, for hard physical workers of sport and otherwise.

Like many carnivore advocates say: plants don't want to be eaten.

Keto is an intervention, not a long term solution. You will strain your thyroid, mineral levels, and sex hormones over the long run.

Suggest pivoting back to natural carbs (fruit, honey, milk) to maintain those vital aspects of your body.
