I'm sure my idea is wrong. I shouldn't suggest the specifics. The point is that some Aus politicians want to save Julian. There is SOME diplomatic path to forcing it to happen. My point was only that show there exists a path to the solution... I'm sure there is a much less extreme path and the diplomats can work that out, that is their job.
We just need to make sure they know how we feel about it, and that we will remember what they did when it is time to vote again.
I think we have to stop pretending votes will change anything. You can't fight criminals via the channels they set up for you to fight them.
There is always more we can do. The first thing I'm going to do next is mute the people who push defeatist attitudes at me, such as yourself. I'm sorry but I can't take this shit today. Goodbye.
It's not defeatist to accept reality & push for change in ways that are actually effective, just the opposite.
If voting made a difference they wouldn't allow it.
