I donate a little bit every month towards Signal Messenger yet I often get into unsolvable captcha loops and can’t send messages. Something is fundamentally broken in how spam reduction is being implemented

Signal is sadly not as safe as it perhaps once was. Captchas are known to imbed tracking and fingerprinting (I have not looked at which captcha signal uses).
Simplex is a great program to use

When/where are you getting captchas? I can't remember ever getting hit with one. I primarily use it in mobile and use Molly
It just randomly asks me to verify before continuing to send messages. The only thing that I can tell that strongly triggers it is when I message someone new for the first time. I’ve never had it happen using the Molly app
