In the future, most #Bitcoin may not be in self-custody, and fractional reserve systems could be built on top of it - just like what happened with gold over the past 2,000 years.

But with Bitcoin, when a custodian f*cks up, it will be liquidated back to the Bitcoin standard. There will be no money-printing tricks available to dilute people's savings.

Wishful thinking IMHO. With widespread fractional reserve banking sooner or later you'll get legal tender and Central Banking, because moneylenders have always an incentive to save their accounting tricks' based businesses and networks, thus keep making money, with the help of a leviathan and its physical coercion.
