Gm nostr,

It's killing my soul to see good people sacrificed at the alter of fiat.

I have coworkers coming to work injured, a day after their wife's or relatives funeral (3 this month). Coming in sick, denied bereavement, working 60-70 hours a week (like me)

They can't afford basic needs like housing or healthcare, let alone to take a single day off work. All because the corporation won't let profit dip by 20% for a single month. Gotta grow 10% forever and bleed everyone out in the process.

Truly heartbreaking.

Tragic this is the reality for most

Sad Indeed

That’s horrific. Is this in the US…what industry?

Yep, luxury automotive. I've been to about 10 dealer groups in my career in multiple states, and they are all the same. But it's gotten significantly worse since Covid.

That sounds a lot worse than construction which I thought was bad.

I see it at my job as well. It makes me so angry
