Miss when America built housing with low time preference in mind.

This window was designed to perfectly be in time with Golden Hour. It shines the brightest at that time, and leaves a rainbow esque shine in my corridor.

America used to have pride in its construction, now it’s only profits. No craftsmanship, only how cheap and fast they can do the job.

As I gaze into the beautiful stained glass scattered around my apartment, I am grateful for the time of America where fiat didn’t forcefully diminish the beauty of our surroundings.
