My favorite book is Harry Potter & The Goblet Of Fire, because in the book you felt like you were investigating a series of mysteries. Exploring the complexities of when strong pre-existing friendships are pushed to the limits. You also get a feeling for what it was like to be an outsider who did not want the responsibility of being one of the comptitors. Yet was forced to rise up to the challenge and overcome adversity. Only to barely escape with his life at the very end as Voldemort once again rose to power.

My favorite Movie is Harry Potter & The Prisoner Of Azkaban. This is a harder one for me to explain. I think it is, because it was more about the training required to face your own fears. Combined with a healthy dose of time travel. Which let's be honest. I wanted a fucking time turner so bad as a kid! Also the introduction of Sirius a character who escaped from prison and on the edge of maddness. As someone who is believed to be the badguy, but turned out to be the most loyal friend of the family and godfather to harry. Simply superb acting.

It was such a mix of hope for the future and despair knowing what was to come by letting wormtail escape. The complexity of the emotions that I feel when watching this makes it so much more meaningful to me than the other movies.
