I hate when companies claim millions in losses from pirating by multiplying DVD value by the number of pirated downloads. If I download a pirate copy it's not a loss to the company if I wasn't going to buy your DVD anyway whether it was pirated or not. Also, some people may have bought a DVD and downloaded a pirated copy without all the DRM restricting how they can watch.
I stopped buying digital movies due to all the DRM and the company's ability to remove your ability to watch what you "purchased". In fact, when you "purchase" a digital movie what you are actually purchasing is a license to view the movie. That license can be revoked at any time without compensation.
