Not sure why it breaks in #[3]​ and #[2]​ and if note1 is affecting the preview. For me, adding nostr: as the prefix, the quotes are previewed and linked to the original note on those mentioned clients.

They have removed the support (or it was never there). Not sure why. It does not make the UX better if you need to add nostr: to every noteid. If you copy the noteid from Damus it comes without the nostr: so you have to manually add it.

That is currently the case, that you need to manually add the prefix to quote and show a preview for the clients mentioned.
