PoW involves generating an absurd amount if hashes per second, should I be spamming my replies or does only my first one count? 🤔

Spamming will get you muted. There's no need to spam multiple replies. Use a client like gossip with proof of work support to do your reply. Start and it will keep processing in background as long as app is open until it finds a match and will send to relays
