Organized religions definitely are. Although I still think some pagan religions that focus on the relationship of humanity with nature are inherently good.

I think you're right!! The important thing is to think for yourself, don't swallow dogma pills.. And don't believe fairy tales just because somebody says to.
Examples?
Examples of organized religions being tools for division and control? Or of pagan religions that focus on harmony with nature?
The pagan harmony thing...
While I do quite literally believe we should live in harmony with nature (which we are very much a part of), in my mind the words "harmony with nature" just sound a lot like a justification for some vegan hippie bullshit or the green religion & climate insanity.
There is the original Slavic native faith. Nothing in common with woke vegan or climate change bullshit. It is more about different parts of nature having spirits, and the need to be respectful to them. If you go to the forest to hunt for prey, you need to take only as much as your family needs and etc. It also embraces family, tradition and community celebrations.
Sounds pretty good to me 🤔
I do think there is merit to monotheism, at least to the degree that it is a recognition that there is one reality & delusion or separation from reality is basically the source of all problems... tho I don't think that is the way things are often interpreted.
