#[0]โ how do I go about setting up L-BTC node? Is there anything in Umbrel or do I need to go full manual and separate server? ๐ถ๐พ๐ซก

Install Elements Core and let it sync. Iโve just done this on my 2nd node to experiment with.
I have Elements Core already installed, I think. Need to check. ๐ถ๐พ๐ซก๐ซ
I havenโt figured out what to do after that has finished though and whether there is much benefit in running it.
๐ถ๐พ๐๐ซI think I am in the same boat!
The thing I want to figure out is how to run an Electrum Server for Liquid that can be used with the Blockstream Green app:
Mine worked like a charm through TOR! ๐ถ๐พ๐ซก
I will try mine later on!
I am trying to see if I can connect using Tailscale now. Having minor issues, maybe due to lack of SSL/TLS๐ถ๐พ๐ซก
I was hoping to be able to connect over Tailscale rather than TOR but will use TOR if I have to.
Iโll try to figure it out, also would prefer Tailscale
Iโll try to reverse proxy with TLS and see how this goes! Definitely not liking any sort of direct connection without TOR๐ถ๐พ๐ญ๐ซก
Ok, did the SSL reverse proxy and it worked! ๐ถ๐พ๐ซก
So just nginx or haproxy in front of it or did you use Cloudflare?
I tried with CF, but nginx or haproxy should have identical effect. Just make sure to set port to 443๐ถ๐พ๐ซก
I think I need to replace my collection of NUCs and Pis with a real server again so I can run VMs for all of these different things I want to do! ๐
Look into these, very good as far as I have experienced! ๐ถ๐พ๐ซก
Yeah I like the look of some of the Supermicro stuff, I was looking at the E300 in the past. Otherwise Iโve used the HP MicroServers in the past so one of the newer models might be ok. Iโve been trying to cut down on the amount of stuff I run at home though! ๐
Same. I still have 3 HP servers with tons of power and RAM, but saving on electricity costs now. ๐ถ๐พ๐๐
Iโve got the storageโฆ
