Attention is one way to give of our time, our most scarce asset. Our attention is ours to give, and no one online has a right to it. #Nostr puts us back in control of our attention. You earn the privilege to someone else’s attention by being someone, or providing something, they want to pay attention to—you build a good reputation. Reputation takes time to build, and unless you’re a known figure you probably don’t have much of one when you enter a new social environment, including nostr. Put in the time to build a reputation as someone worth giving attention to, because attention equals time, and time is scarce.
