Yeah binge eating/snacking was only happening for me when I wasn’t taking care to eat enough meat/cheese. There was a time I was overweight and eating huge bowls of rice/pasta and rarely being satiated

Which was a quality over quantity issue: I was starving for protein but thinking that tons of calories was what it meant to “eat well”

yeah, I think I fell for the same; including eating lots of veggies thinking fiber would slow down the digestive system

But that was also a time where I wasn’t getting enough natural sunlight OR water OR meaningful/creative work, so no surprises there 😂
